The perfect Rainbow slushie for St. Patrickโ€™s Day, unicorn parties or any day of the year has been created by Kara of @kara.vahe on Instagram. I also love how Kara styled this photo with my rainbow confetti to keep the rainbow vibes going strong.

While this is of course a kid friendly Rainbow Slushie - @kara.vahe says it can also be spiced up a bit for adults with a touch of Mailbu Rum. Letโ€™s start making your Rainbow Slushies . . .

The perfect rainbow slushie recipe for unicorn parties, Saint Patrickโ€™s Day or any day. Spice it up with a touch of Mailbu Rum for the adults. See the full recipe from @kara.vahe on FestiveFetti.com

Shopping List to Make this Rainbow Slushie from @kara.vahe
โ€ข Sprinkles
โ€ข Honey, marshmallow fluff or frosting for the rim
โ€ข Shaved ice maker (recommend KOJI from target )
โ€ข Syrups in red, yellow and blue
โ€ข Malibu rum if desired (passion fruit was yummy)

How to Make the Rainbow Slushie

1. Rim glass with desired ingredient and rim with the sprinkles
2. Put a little shaved ice in a small cup and mix colors using the syrups. Then pour into taller glass.
3. Repeat until youโ€™ve made the entire rainbow working backwards. Purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, red.

Tips:
โ€ข place glass in fridge for five minutes after youโ€™ve rimmed the glass to prevent the sprinkles from sliding down.
โ€ข If your syrups are pale and you want them brighter, drop one drop of food coloring in and mix. I used one drop of yellow to help make green and a brighter yellow because the yellow syrup is pretty pale.

Now, itโ€™s time to enjoy your rainbow slushies!
